Visual Identity

Bold, playful, unmistakably cohesive

Project Overview

Client: Jeebly LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Timeline: 2 months, Dec 2026
Role: Product & UX Designer

The problem

The JNoW app was already live — but it felt lifeless. Sharp edges on everything, heavy blue throughout, flat typography, and inconsistent iconography made the experience feel cold and unfinished. On top of the visual issues, there were real UX breaks: user flow problems, typography inconsistencies, and iconography that didn't communicate clearly.

The brief came from the top — CEO down to CBO, down to the Associate Product Manager, down to me. One designer. No design team. Redesign the entire app.

My Role

Sole designer on the project. I owned every screen — from initial concepts through revision rounds to final handoff. My manager collaborated with me specifically on the iconography direction, but all visual design, layout decisions, and prototyping were mine.

Research & Discovery

There was no formal competitor audit, but real user feedback shaped the scope — flow breaks, unclear icons, and typography issues were already documented. The technical team owned the backend complaints; design owned everything the user sees and touches.

Constraints going in:

  • Brand colors, typography, and logo were fixed — not up for redesign

  • Jeebly Pay's backend was handled by a third party — those screens were out of scope

  • Everything else was open

Reference points for iconography: Uber and Talabat — not copied, but used to calibrate the right tone. The icons needed to sit between playful and corporate — a balance that took the most iteration to get right.

The Concept

LEGO minifigures on a creative journey

The campaign narrative follows LEGO figures interacting with real Nike sneakers — shot outdoors, in studios, on billboards. Playful but intentional.

Reflection

What I'd push further

Motion — animated carousel shots, a proper 30-second storyboarded video, and an AR filter concept for Instagram. The idea was strong enough to earn all three.
